I do see where you are coming from - one major reason why I love the dobermann breed is its looks - it is so damn gorgeous, athletic, strong, tall, noble, just simply beautiful, and yes a lot of it has to do with its ears. but I think sasa the OP now has a more informed opinion when some of us here give him the + and -s of cropped ears.

Why do doberman puppies have wrapped ears. I'm getting a doberman pinscher soon, and we're getting his ears cropped. How long do you have to keep the tape and splints on for after the surgery?
